Employment Law Advisor – Newcastle Under Lyme - £25k-£30k

As HR/Employee Relations Advisor, you will work as part of a professional advisory team providing a HR/ER consultancy service. With experience of employment legislation and HR/ER best practice, you will have a commercial work approach and a high level knowledge of employment law.

Employment Tribunal Advocate – Manchester – £30k-£35k

My client provides a comprehensive, professional and tailored HR service to clients on a National basis. They recognize that each company has an individual need and are able to provide a bespoke advisory service for employers and key staff. Due to their continued success they now have an immediate requirement for an Employment Law Advocate.

You will be working specifically within the Employment Law division and will be responsible for providing an Advocacy service to Managers, Directors and Company Owners. Representing your clients interests you will provide advice, recommendations and decisions on all manner of legalities within Employment Law, including misconduct, dismissal, harassment, equal ops, duty of care, disciplinary and grievance. You will be presenting these cases to Judges within hearings and tribunals describing the situation with a view to gaining a successful outcome.

Having had previous experience of managing and presenting your own Employment Law cases you will have a strong working knowledge of the Tribunal/Hearing format and be able to communicate effectively the position of your clients. You will be decision orientated and be able to ascertain from files/notes and cases the direction of an issue within specific timescales.

Excellent communication and presentation skills Legal Qualification / Employment Law qualification or equivalent

Employment Law Advisor required for a leading global Human Resources services provider, providing innovative solutions to companies of all sizes, giving high quality advice and support to clients on Employment Law and HR issues.

The role entails providing a comprehensive advice service, relating to all Employment Law and HR issues in accordance with client requirements, helping them reach pragmatic solutions to their Human Resource issues. You will also draft and approve letters for clients, whilst assisting in their dealings with external agencies such as trade unions and regulatory bodies.

To be successful in this role you will be CIPD qualified, have good industry knowledge or be an experienced HR generalist. You must have good IT literacy, and be an effective communicator, working in collaboration with colleagues to deliver results.
